MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED Currency Detector without BATTERY

MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED is an automatic banknote detector from the new professional MERTECH Flash Prime line, designed for stationary cash registers. The model is focused on fast cash transactions, where high verification accuracy, easy perception of results, and stable online operation are important.

The battery-free version is optimal for stores, retail chains, and offices with constant power supply, where a reliable detector is required for daily cash flow.

Reliable automatic checking of banknotes

The detector checks banknotes automatically at a rate of up to 0.5 seconds per bill. The device implements a multi-level detection system: infrared, ultraviolet and magnetic verification, control of the optical density and geometry of the banknote, analysis of spectral characteristics, verification of the special element "I", as well as protection against double bills.

This approach provides a comprehensive assessment of authenticity and reduces the risk of accepting counterfeit or damaged banknotes with heavy cash flow.

The MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED automatically detects the currency and denomination of the banknote. RUB and USD are supported in the basic configuration. The bills are accepted by any party, which simplifies the cashier's work and reduces the service time.

Revenue control and updatable software

For everyday cash control, there is a summation mode that allows you to track the total amount of checked banknotes. The detector stores data about the performed checks, which is convenient for internal accounting and analysis of operations.

The device supports self-updating of the software. This allows you to maintain up-to-date detection algorithms and adapt to changes in the security features of banknotes without complicated service procedures.

The verification results are accompanied by an audible and visual indication, and the direction of banknote issuance can be adjusted to the workflow — direct and reverse feeding is available.

LED display and design of the new Flash Prime line

The model is equipped with a 3.5" LED display with a clear segment indication. The display shows the currency being checked, the denomination of the banknote, the total amount of the checked banknotes and the active feeding direction. This display format is easy to read in bright lighting of the cash register area and does not overload the operator with unnecessary information.

The detector body has been completely redesigned as part of the Flash Prime line. The side-sliding opening display design simplifies access to work units and sensors, facilitates cleaning and maintenance of the device, helping to maintain stable verification accuracy throughout its entire service life.

Stationary operation and reliability

The MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED is powered by a DC12V/1.0A power adapter. The device's power consumption is less than 12 W, which makes it an economical solution for permanent work at the checkout.

The detector is designed for operation at temperatures from 0°C to +40°C.C and can be stored at temperatures up to +65 °C. The case is made of durable ABS + PC material (plastic and polycarbonate), resistant to wear and mechanical stress.

The compact dimensions of 158 x 130 x 81 mm and the weight of 590 g ensure stable placement on the desktop and convenience in daily work.

Scope of application

The MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED currency detector without battery is designed for stores, retail chains, offices with cash turnover, payment acceptance points and other stationary cash points. The support of the ruble and the dollar makes the model a universal solution for everyday cash transactions.
