MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LCD Currency Detector without BATTERY

MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LCD is a professional automatic banknote detector of the new MERTECH Flash Prime line, designed for stationary operation at cash registers and points with constant power supply. The model combines high verification accuracy, an updated case design and a convenient enlarged LCD display, providing fast and reliable cash verification.

The battery-free version is focused on classic cash register scenarios: retail stores, offices, payment acceptance points and retail chains, where stability, speed of service and minimum requirements for cashier actions are important.

Comprehensive detection system and high-speed verification

The MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME performs automatic checking of banknotes at a rate of up to 0.5 seconds per bill. The device uses a comprehensive authenticity control system, including infrared, ultraviolet and magnetic detection, optical density control, geometric control of the banknote, verification of the special element "I", spectral characterization and double check.

This approach provides reliable protection against counterfeiting when working with cash and reduces the risk of accepting questionable banknotes in cash registers.

The detector automatically detects the currency and denomination of the banknote (RUB and USD are supported in the basic configuration) and accepts banknotes when submitted by any party. This speeds up customer service and reduces the likelihood of errors on the part of the operator.

Functions for cash control and convenience of work

To account for cash transactions, a summation mode is provided that allows you to see the total amount of checked bills. The device also stores data on verified banknotes, which is convenient for internal control and analysis of transactions.

Support for self-updating software allows you to keep the verification algorithms up-to-date without complicated service procedures and equipment downtime.

The banknote issuance mode is configured for the operating scenario: direct or reverse issuance is available. The results of the check are accompanied by an audible and visual indication, which simplifies the cashier's work.

Enlarged LCD display and thoughtful design

The detector is equipped with a 3.5" LCD display, which displays key information: the currency being checked, the denomination of the banknote, the total amount of the checked banknotes, and the active feeding direction. The display is easy to read in cash conditions and is designed for long-term daily operation.

The Flash Prime line has received a completely redesigned case with a side-facing opening display. This solution simplifies access to work sites, allows monitoring the status of sensors and cleaning the device, reducing maintenance costs and maintaining stable detection accuracy.

Reliable stationary operation

The MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LCD is designed for mains operation using a DC12V/1.0A power adapter. The device's power consumption is less than 12 W, which makes it economical for continuous operation.

The detector is designed to operate in a wide temperature range from 0 °C to +40 °C, as well as for storage at temperatures up to +65 °C. The case is made of durable ABS + PC material (plastic and polycarbonate), resistant to wear and mechanical stress.

The dimensions of the device are 158 x 130 x 81 mm, weight — 590 g, which ensures stable placement on the cashier's desk.

Scope of application

MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LCD without battery is suitable for stores and retail chains, cash registers, offices with cash turnover, payment acceptance points and other stationary points of sale. The support of the ruble and the dollar makes the model universal for businesses with cash payments.
