The kit is suitable for acceptance, inventory, shipment, checking balances, labeling and remote access to the inventory program.

The MERTECH MovFast S55 data acquisition terminal helps automate routine operations, increase employee productivity, and reduce errors during manual data entry. The device is convenient to use in trade, logistics, warehouse accounting, manufacturing, services and high-load facilities.

With each MERTECH MovFast S55, software is provided with a free three-month period: "Warehouse 15" and "Store 15" from the company Cleverens. After the end of the trial period, the current license can be extended or improved.

Advantages of the kit

The kit expands the capabilities of a standard data acquisition terminal and helps prepare the device for intensive daily operation. The data-free cradle is used for convenient charging of the terminal at the workplace. The pistol grip speeds up the scanning of a large number of goods, boxes, pallets and packages.

The protective case, glass and strap help to keep the terminal in working condition during active operation. Accessories protect the case and screen from scratches, bumps and damage, as well as reduce the risk of accidentally dropping the device during operation.

The kit is suitable for employees who use the TSD during the entire shift. The terminal can be used as a mobile device for working with a commodity accounting program, installed in a charging slot, and used with a pistol grip during intensive scanning.

Idle without data transfer

The package includes a credl without data transfer. It is designed for convenient installation and charging of the MERTECH MovFast S55 data acquisition terminal. This accessory helps to organize the operator's workplace and keep the device charged during the shift.

The Kreidl can be used at the checkout, warehouse, in the acceptance area, on the desktop of the administrator or operator. After the operation is completed, the terminal is installed in the slot and charged. This is more convenient than connecting the cable manually every time.

The cradle performs the function of a charging station without data transmission. It is not used to exchange data with a PC, but it helps to quickly and conveniently recharge the terminal between work operations.

Performance and operating system

The MERTECH MovFast S55 runs on Android 13. The current version of the operating system allows you to install modern applications for business automation, warehouse accounting, trade, logistics and labeling.

The terminal has a high-performance 8-core MTK MT8768 processor. The amount of RAM is 4 GB, and the internal memory is 64 GB. This is enough for stable operation of commodity accounting programs, mobile applications, reference books, databases and working scenarios with a large number of operations.

The design provides a slot for a Micro SD card with a capacity of up to 128 GB. This allows you to expand the device's memory to store data, documents, photos, reports, and other work information.

Communication and connection

The MERTECH MovFast S55 TSD supports LTE 2G/3G/4G mobile networks. The operator can work with the inventory accounting system not only within the warehouse or store, but also on the move, in the shipping area, during delivery or in remote units.

Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and BLE are available for wireless connection. The terminal also supports GPS, Beidou, GLONASS and Galileo navigation systems. USB Type-C is used for charging and connecting to a PC.

Wireless interfaces allow the terminal to be used in mobile scenarios.: in the warehouse, in the sales area, in the acceptance area, on shipment and when moving goods between departments.

Design features

By design, the MERTECH MovFast S55 resembles a secure smartphone. The touchscreen display occupies most of the front panel. The 5.5-inch screen is based on an IPS matrix and is suitable for working with warehouse and trading software interfaces.

The terminal has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. The cameras can be used to photograph goods, documents, packaging damage, reports, and other work tasks.

The control buttons are located at the bottom of the display and on the sides of the case. The design has a power on and lock screen button, a volume control button, an additional programmable button and two buttons for scanning.

The software provides a virtual keyboard. The industrial sensor is highly impact resistant, and the display is covered with Panda MN 228 glass for additional protection.

Case protection

The terminal body is made of impact-resistant plastic and polycarbonate. The device can withstand multiple falls from a height of up to 1.5 m. IP67 enclosure protection allows the use of TSD at high humidity, in dusty rooms, in a warehouse, in the acceptance and shipment area.

The case size is 153.9×73×13.8 mm. The weight of the terminal is 230 g. It is convenient to hold the device in your hand, carry it between work areas and use it during a shift.

The protective case and glass from the kit additionally protect the terminal from damage during active operation. The strap helps to hold the device securely in your hand and reduces the risk of accidental fall.

2D Scanner Characteristics

The MERTECH MovFast S55 is equipped with a 2D Image scanning module. The built-in wide-angle scanner speeds up the operator's work. The employee does not need to adjust the tilt of the device or the distance to the label for a long time: the sensitive module recognizes the code at the first hover.

The built-in scanner recognizes popular 1D and 2D barcodes, including PDF417, Data Matrix and QR. Due to this, the terminal is suitable for alcohol trading according to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and for working with labeled goods in the Honest SIGN system.

Scanning is performed even from difficult surfaces. TSD recognizes labels with a contrast ratio of at least 20%. When reading, the LED backlight turns on in white, so you can work with barcodes at different lighting levels.

Pistol grip

The pistol grip from the kit makes the terminal convenient for intensive scanning. The accessory is especially useful in warehouses, distribution centers, stores with a large flow of goods and during inventory.

With the handle, the operator reads codes from boxes, pallets, shelves and packaging faster. This format reduces the load on the brush and helps to work comfortably with a large number of similar operations.

The pistol grip helps to use the TSD as a professional scanning tool for high-intensity tasks: acceptance, selection, picking, moving and shipping of goods.

Battery

The MERTECH MovFast S55 comes with a 5,000 mAh battery. After a full charge, the terminal works for up to 14 hours. It takes at least 3 hours to charge to 100%.

The design has a backup battery that supports the hot-swap function of the battery. The main battery can be removed and replaced with a new one without disconnecting the terminal. During hot swapping, the data remains in RAM.
