MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED Currency Detector with BATTERY

MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED Currency Detector

MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED is an automatic banknote detector of the new MERTECH Flash Prime line, designed for stationary operation at cash registers and points with constant power supply. The model is focused on fast cash transactions, where reliable authentication, ease of perception of information and high speed of service are important.

The LED-display version is suitable for classic cash register scenarios in retail, offices and cash collection points, where visual display of verification results is required without excessive visual load.

Multi-channel checking of banknotes in 0.5 seconds

The MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED performs automatic checking of banknotes at a rate of up to 0.5 seconds per bill. The device implements a comprehensive detection system, including infrared, ultraviolet and magnetic monitoring, checking the optical density, geometry of the banknote, the special element "I", spectral characteristics and protection against double bills.

This set of methods ensures high verification accuracy and reduces the risk of receiving counterfeit or damaged banknotes in cash register areas with a heavy flow of customers.

The detector automatically detects the currency and denomination (RUB and USD are supported) and accepts banknotes when submitted by either party. This simplifies the cashier's work and reduces the time for each operation.

Revenue control functions and updatable software

For the convenience of cash control, a summation mode is provided, which displays the total amount of the checked banknotes. The device also stores data on verified bills, which helps with internal accounting and analysis of transactions.

Support for self-updating software allows you to keep detection algorithms up-to-date without complicated service procedures and contacting a service center.

The banknote issuance mode can be customized for the workflow — direct or reverse issuance is available. The test results are accompanied by an audible and visual indication.

LED display and thoughtful design of Flash Prime

The model is equipped with a 3.5" LED display with a clear segment indication. The screen displays the type of currency being checked, the denomination of the banknote, the total amount, the active feed direction, and service messages. The LED display format is easy to read in bright cash register lighting conditions and minimizes distractions.

The case of the Flash Prime line has been completely redesigned by MERTECH engineers. The side-sliding opening display design simplifies access to the working elements, allows monitoring the status of sensors and cleaning the device, reducing maintenance costs and ensuring stable verification accuracy.

Reliable stationary operation

The MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED is designed for mains operation using a DC12V/1.0A power adapter. The device's power consumption is less than 12 W, which makes it an economical solution for continuous cash operation.

The detector is designed to operate in the temperature range from 0°C to +40°C.C and can be stored at temperatures up to +65 °C. The case is made of durable ABS + PC material (plastic and polycarbonate), resistant to wear and mechanical stress.

The dimensions of the device are 158 x 130 x 81 mm, weight — 590 g. The detector is stably placed on the desktop and does not move when the cashier is actively working.

Scope of application

MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LED without battery is designed for stores and retail chains, cash registers, offices with cash turnover, payment acceptance points and other stationary points of sale. The support of the ruble and the dollar makes the model universal for everyday cash transactions.
