MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LCD Currency Detector with BATTERY

The MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LCD is a professional automatic banknote detector of the new MERTECH Flash Prime line, designed as a modern replacement for previous generation solutions. The model combines high test accuracy, a convenient enlarged display and a mobile operation format thanks to the built-in Li-ion battery. The detector is designed for cash registers, retail outlets, and scenarios where speed of service and reliable authentication are important.

Comprehensive authentication: multi-channel detection in 0.5 seconds

FLASH PRIME performs automatic checking of banknotes at a rate of up to 0.5 seconds per bill. The device uses a comprehensive monitoring system: infrared, ultraviolet and magnetic detection, optical density control, geometric control of the banknote, verification of the special element "I", spectral characterization and double check. This set of methods provides reliable verification in retail and cash scenarios where protection against counterfeits and "questionable" banknotes is important.

The detector automatically detects the currency and denomination (RUB and USD are supported in the basic configuration) and accepts banknotes when submitted by either party. This reduces the requirements for the cashier's actions and speeds up operations with the flow of customers.

Convenient operation at the checkout: summarizing, checking history, and software updates

To control revenue, a summation mode is provided — the detector shows the total amount of the checked banknotes. The device also stores data on verified bills, which is convenient for internal control and dispute resolution.

Important for practical operation: self-updating of the software is supported. This helps to maintain up-to-date verification algorithms without complicated procedures and unnecessary downtime.

The banknote issuance mode can be adjusted to suit the working scenario: direct and reverse issuance is available. Confirmation of the test results is accompanied by an audible and visual indication.

Enlarged LCD display and simplified maintenance

The model is equipped with a 3.5" LCD display, which displays information useful for the cashier and the administrator: the currency being checked, the denomination of the bill, the total amount, the active feed direction, as well as a low battery warning. The display is designed for practical use and is easy to read in working conditions.

The Flash Prime line has received a redesigned case design with a side-facing opening display. This solution simplifies access to work items, allows monitoring the condition of sensors and performing cleaning without wasting time — this reduces maintenance costs and helps maintain stable inspection accuracy under constant load.

Mobility and reliability: battery-powered version for operation without tethering to an outlet

The battery version is designed for mobile scenarios: outbound sales, temporary cash desks, points of sale in pavilions and at events. A 10.8V / 600 mAh Li-ion battery is included. When working from the mains, a DC12V/1.0A power adapter is used, and the device's power consumption is less than 12 W.

The detector is designed for operation in a wide range of conditions: operating temperature from 0 °C to +40 °C, storage temperature from -20 ° C to +65 °C. The case is made of durable ABS + PC (plastic + polycarbonate) material. The dimensions of the device are 158 x 130 x 81 mm, weight — 634 g: the detector is stable on the desktop, while remaining compact enough for mobile use.

Scope of application

MERTECH D-20A FLASH PRIME LCD with battery is suitable for shops and retail chains, cash registers, cash service points, warehouse and office payment acceptance points, as well as for mobile commerce and field events.
