MERTECH CL-2220 BLE SPP Dongle P2D USB Black Wireless Barcode Scanner

MERTECH CL-2220 BLE SPP Dongle P2D USB black is a wireless handheld 2D scanner for shops, warehouses, pharmacies, pick-up points and other areas where mobility, stable data transmission and reliable label reading are important. The model is suitable for working with the Honest Sign system, USAIS, commodity accounting programs, cash register software and popular platforms, including 1C, VLSI and EVOTOR.

The scanner is equipped with a modern 2D Image module and an ARM Cortex A7 processor, which provides fast data processing and read speeds of up to 100 scans per second. The device recognizes both linear and two-dimensional barcodes, including QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec, MicroQR and other popular formats. Thanks to this, the model can be used for trading labeled products, accounting for goods in a warehouse, and automating cash transactions.

Advantages of the scanning module

The MERTECH CL-2220 confidently reads barcodes from paper labels, mobile device screens, and complex surfaces. The minimum contrast ratio of the barcode is 20%, and the minimum scanning resolution is 3.9 MIL, which allows you to recognize small and imperfectly printed codes. The reading range reaches 370 mm, depending on the size and type of the barcode.

The wide coverage angle of 40°(H) × 32°(V) and the high sensitivity to the orientation of the code allow you to scan products without precise positioning. The scanner operates at an inclination of up to ± 65°, a deviation of up to ± 60° and a 360° rotation, which is especially convenient for intensive work in a sales area or warehouse.

The 3500K anti-glare LED backlight helps you confidently read codes in bright light, on glare surfaces and in difficult operating conditions. The device supports automatic scanning, which speeds up the processing of goods and makes the operator's work more comfortable.

Wireless connection and SPP profile

One of the key advantages of the MERTECH CL-2220 BLE SPP is Bluetooth BLE 5.0 support and data transmission over a distance of up to 100 meters. This makes the model convenient for working in large warehouses, sales halls, acceptance and assembly areas, where it is important for the operator to move freely without restrictions by wires.

The Bluetooth SPP profile (Serial Port Profile) emulates the operation of a classic COM port. This means that the scanner can exchange data with the system as if the devices are connected via a regular serial cable. This connection format simplifies integration with software that works via a COM interface, and allows the scanner to be used in scenarios where the usual logic of serial data transmission without a physical cable is required.

The Dongle P2D USB receiver is included in the package, which provides a quick connection to the workplace. USB-HID, USB-COM in emulation mode, and RS-232 interfaces are also supported, optionally using cradle, which expands the possibilities of integration into the existing enterprise infrastructure.

Working with labeling and memory

The scanner supports work with the USAIS and the Honest Sign system, therefore it is suitable for sale of alcohol, tobacco products, footwear, medicines, perfumes and other marked goods. The built-in 512 KB memory allows you to save more than 4,000 USAIS codes, which is especially important in case of temporary loss of communication or work in remote warehouse areas.

This solution helps to avoid data loss and ensures the continuity of business processes even in difficult operating conditions.

Reliability and ergonomics

The MERTECH CL-2220 case is made of a durable combination of ABS plastic and polycarbonate. The IP54 degree of protection provides resistance to dust and splashes, and the reinforced structure allows it to withstand up to 30 falls from a height of 1.8 meters on a concrete surface and multiple falls from a height of 1.5 meters.

The life of the button is designed for 5 million clicks, so the scanner is suitable for daily intensive use. Audio and visual indications, as well as a vibration response, are provided to confirm successful reading. This is especially useful in noisy rooms, where it is important for the operator to receive confirmation of the scan immediately.

The weight of the device is only 192 grams, and the ergonomic shape of the case reduces the load on the brush during prolonged operation. The 2600 mAh battery provides long-term autonomous operation during a shift.
