A label cutter is an accessory designed for quickly cutting receipt tape. Unlike a separator, the cutter does not form sticky labels. It is intended for use with paper receipts.
What is a label cutter?
This printer accessory automatically cuts the tape into individual receipts. It provides a clean and neat cutting line. The operator does not need to cut the paper manually, allowing them to serve customers more quickly.
The accessory is not included in the basic assembly but can be purchased separately. It is suitable for MERTECH TLP300 thermal transfer printers.
Sharp surface resource: 2 million cuts. The blade sharpens itself during operation. However, unlike a separator, the cutter should not be used with adhesive tapes without a backing. If adhesive material gets on the blade, small particles of dust and paper fibers will start to stick to it. Over time, this may lead to a decrease in cutting quality.
