A label cutter is a hinged accessory designed for quick cutting of a receipt tape. Unlike the separator, the knife does not form sticky labels. It is designed to work with paper receipts.
Label cutter — what is it?
This printer accessory automatically cuts the tape into individual receipts. It turns out a smooth and beautiful cut line. The operator does not need to cut the paper manually. He can serve customers faster.
The attachment part is not included in the basic assembly. But you can purchase it additionally. The accessory is suitable for MERTECH TLP100 thermal transfer printers.
Sharp surface life: 2 million cuts. The blade self-sharpens during operation. However, unlike the separator, the cutter should not be used with adhesive tapes without a backing. If the adhesive gets on the knife, small particles of dust and paper fibers will start sticking to it. In the future, this may lead to a decrease in the quality of the cut.
