The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The terminal can be used for order compilation and inventory management in a store, as well as for automating warehouses and logistics.
Housing Features
The design is based on user feedback. The result is a thin and lightweight data collection device that can be operated with one hand. The dimensions of the housing have been reduced without compromising strength. The device withstands drops from a height of up to 1.8 m. The housing protection class is IP68.
The model is equipped with a touchscreen LCD display. Thanks to the bright display, the terminal can be used under direct sunlight. The model is equipped with an industrial button keypad.
To protect the power button from accidental presses, a bezel has been added. The scanning buttons are located on the front panel, on both the left and right sides of the housing. Users can choose the button that is most convenient for them.
Scanning Module
The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks is equipped with a professional scanning module. Label scanning is possible from a distance of up to 1 meter. The system recognizes all popular 1D and 2D barcodes.
The scanning module can recognize scratched, dirty, or crumpled codes, as well as labels covered with a clear film. Barcode recognition is accompanied by audio and visual signals. The brightness of the front backlight in this model is reduced to lessen the strain on the operator's eyes.
Battery
The data collection device operates on a high-capacity ATL 5000 mAh battery. An intelligent system for protecting against overcharging is provided.
Advantages of the installed battery include:
- More than 800 charging cycles without capacity degradation.
- Performance is maintained for 3 years.
- One charge lasts for 16 hours of operation.
The design includes a backup power battery. When replacing a discharged battery with a charged one, the device does not turn off, and data is retained in the RAM.
Interfaces
Support for dual-band Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity up to 4G, Bluetooth and BLE 5.0, GPS, and NFC is implemented. For cellular communication, a microphone with dual noise reduction and high-quality speakers are provided.
