The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The terminal can be utilized for order assembly and inventory management in a store, as well as for warehouse and logistics automation.
Body Features
The design was developed based on user feedback. The result is a slim and lightweight data collection device that can be operated with one hand. The dimensions of the body have been reduced without sacrificing strength. The device can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 m. Body protection class: IP68.
The model is equipped with a touch LCD display. Thanks to the bright display, the terminal can be used under direct sunlight. The model comes with an industrial button keyboard.
To protect the power button from accidental presses, a bezel has been added. The scanning buttons are located on the front panel, on both the left and right sides of the body. Users can choose the button that is most convenient for them.
Scanning Module
The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is equipped with a professional scanning module. Label scanning is possible from a distance of up to 1 m. The system recognizes all popular 1D and 2D barcodes.
The scanning module can recognize scratched, dirty, or crumpled codes, as well as labels covered with transparent film. Barcode recognition is accompanied by an audible and visual signal. The brightness of the front backlight in this model is reduced to lessen the strain on the operator's eyes.
Battery
The data collection terminal operates on a high-capacity ATL 5000 mAh battery. An intelligent overcharge protection system is provided.
Advantages of the installed battery:
- More than 800 charging cycles without a decrease in capacity.
- Performance is maintained for 3 years.
- One charge lasts for 16 hours of operation.
The design includes a backup power battery. When replacing a discharged battery with a charged one, the device does not turn off, and data is preserved in the RAM.
Interfaces
Support for dual-band Wi-Fi, cellular communication up to 4G, Bluetooth and BLE 5.0, GPS, and NFC has been implemented. For cellular communication, a microphone with dual noise cancellation and high-quality speakers are provided.
