The MERTECH Seuic AutoID series 8 data collection terminal is designed for the automation of store, warehouse, restaurant, delivery service, or other tasks. The DCT is compatible with software from "Cleverens" and "DataMobile". Using the DCT reduces wasted working time and increases efficiency.

Each MERTECH Seuic AutoID series 8 comes pre-installed with software that includes a free three-month trial period: Warehouse 15 and Store 15 from Cleverens. After the trial period, the current license can be extended or upgraded.

The DCT is equipped with a 2D scanner for barcode recognition. The minimum image contrast for reading is 10%. The DCT operates on the principle of a photo scanner: the camera takes pictures of the barcodes, and the software deciphers them. The 13-megapixel camera with autofocus and flashlight ensures high image clarity.

The data collection terminal is equipped with a customizable virtual scan button, which can be placed anywhere on the touchscreen, providing maximum convenience for executing commands.

The DCT has an ergonomic and reliable casing. The outer panels are made of plastic and polycarbonate. Input is done via an industrial-grade touchscreen and a physical keyboard. The diagonal of the touchscreen is 4 inches. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
