The embedded MERTECH N160 scanner perfectly recognizes 1D and 2D barcodes. It recognizes all known encoding formats. This model is suitable for embedding in vending machines. The device can work as a mobile handheld reader (with a wired connection). Case color: Black.
Technical specifications
The small scanner can be easily integrated into any mechanism. Total device size 77,5*66*45 mm. The reader weighs 75 grams. The device body is made of durable materials (ABC + PC). It can withstand multiple falls from a 1.5-meter height. The structure is protected from moisture and dust (protection class IP54).
2D Scanner Performance Characteristics:
- Speed: up to 100 scans/sec.
- Scanning distance: up to 100 mm.
- Coverage angle: 72°(H)x64 °(V).
- Sensitivity: 65*360*60 degrees.
- Minimum contrast ratio: 20%.
- Backlight: 6500K LED (white).
- Screen: 640*480 Px.
USB-HID is used for connection, USB-HID emulation. An optional RS-232 port is available. The scanner is compatible with most trading applications and operating systems.
Advantages of the model
The MERTECH N160 embedded 2D scanner uses SuperLead technology. This is an innovative technology patented by MERTECH. It provides high speed and accuracy of barcode scanning (linear and two-dimensional).
This reader recognizes damaged and indistinct barcodes. It scans information from mirrored surfaces, from mobile device screens. The system quickly reads the encoding applied to complex surfaces. Built-in backlight speeds up scanning.
A “Sleep mode” is provided to reduce energy consumption. After bringing the product with the label to the sensor, the system will automatically exit it. Activation of the device does not take much time.
