The M-ER 221 F-32.5 "Install" RS-232 and USB model is one of the thinnest embedded electronic scales available on the market. They can be integrated into cash boxes or tables. This model can also be used as a standalone device. Weight range: from 100 grams to 32 kilograms.
Design Features
The housing is made of durable metal. The platform is made of food-grade stainless steel. Dimensions of the housing: 330*320*80 mm. Dimensions of the platform: 330*320 mm. The load cell has an OIML certification. The side panel features an LED display, zeroing and tare buttons. These elements duplicate the software functionality of the scales. Since the scales are embedded, the main functionality is implemented at the software level.
The M-ER 221 F-32.5 "Install" RS-232 and USB scales have several connection interfaces. For connecting to a POS system, either the RS-232 or USB interface can be used.
Electronics and Software
The scales synchronize with the computer via CAS-M and POS-2M protocols. The device supports working with the 1C system and most online cash registers. Drivers for synchronization can be downloaded for free from the manufacturer's website.
The device can synchronize with OPOS and JavaPos. The electronics are compatible with Windows and Linux OS. Older versions of Windows are supported: 7, 8, XP. A virtual COM port driver is required to work with these operating systems.
No driver is required for Windows 10. Connectivity to Linux is conducted through cdc_acm. This is a standard module that automatically loads when the scales are connected to Ubuntu.
