The MERTECH D-20A Promatic GREENRED is an automatic banknote detector that runs on battery power. The PSD and Anti-Stokes detection system (IAS) is implemented in the model. After checking, a red or green light appears on the display.
Advantages of this model
The small appliance does not take up much space on the table. There is a place for installation in the cash register area of a store, pharmacy, cafe, beauty salon, gas station and other businesses. The banknote analysis is carried out by 8 detections:
- Infrared;
- Ultraviolet;
- Magnetic;
- Optical density control;
- Geometric control of the banknote;
- Special element "And";
- Spectral characteristic;
- Double check
There are 2 LED displays on the front panel: green and red. If the bill is recognized as genuine, the green display turns on. If the bill is questionable, the green display turns on and a beep sounds.
The accuracy of the automatic check is high. This is confirmed by the results of testing in the ECC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The device's design is very simple: employees with low qualifications can verify money for authenticity.
Technical specifications
The device is made of polycarbonate and plastic. The robust housing protects the electronics when falling from the height of the table. The mechanism accepts money inserted by either party. During the check, direct and reverse money transfers are performed.
The verification of banknotes is carried out individually. The banknote analysis takes 0.5 seconds. The detector has a memory in which the results are stored. The device only works with rubles. The firmware can be updated after the release of new banknotes.
The detector is powered by an energy-intensive battery. One charge is enough for 9 hours of continuous operation with banknotes. A power adapter is used to charge the battery. A charged device can be taken on field trips.
