MERTECH D-20A Promatic GREENRED is an automatic banknote authenticity detector. Detection is carried out using the PSD system and Anti-Stox (IAS). The analysis of banknotes is performed based on machine-readable features. After detection, one of two signals lights up on the body: green or red.
Advantages of this model
The small banknote detector does not take up much space. It requires only 135*165 mm of installation area. The housing of the device is made of plastic and polycarbonate.
The device operates on the principle of a traffic light. Any staff member, regardless of their qualification level, can check the authenticity of money. Eight detections are used in the operation:
- Infrared;
- Ultraviolet;
- Magnetic;
- Optical density control;
- Geometric control of the banknote;
- Special element "I";
- Spectral characteristic;
- Double note check.
There are 2 LED displays installed on the front panel: red and green. If the banknote is suspicious, the red signal lights up. If the banknote is genuine, the green signal lights up. The probability of error approaches zero: the system recognizes suspicious banknotes with high accuracy.
Operation principle
The device only works with rubles. Analysis speed: 0.5 seconds. The device performs both forward and reverse feeding. The direction in which the money is inserted does not matter.
The check is accompanied not only by visual but also by audible indication. When a banknote with signs of counterfeiting is detected, the device emits an unpleasant sound. When new denominations are released, the detector’s firmware can be updated.
The device is suitable for quick checks of banknotes for authenticity. It is an excellent solution for high-traffic points: supermarkets, cafes, beauty salons, gas stations, ticket offices, pharmacies, etc.
This model’s design does not include a battery. The device operates from a mains power adapter. A USB port is used for connection.
